The Alberta Zone 2-U16AA Team earned a berth in the quarterfinals after a big win over the U16 team from Quebec.

Kennedy Rice had two goals to help the team beat Quebec 5-3 and stay undefeated in the tournament thus far at 6-0.

Next up was a match with the Manitoba Provincial Team yesterday (April 13th).

Riley Wasylyniuk had a hat trick in that game but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough, as Manitoba squeaked by with a 7-6 victory, ending the run for the Zone 2 team.

Manitoba went on to beat Ontario 4-3 later that day and will take on the Calgary Surge this afternoon.
