They've been in every game but the Airdrie Elite Female Lightning are still searching for their first win at the Provincial Female Midget Hockey Tournament in Calgary.

The Lightning faced off against the Calgary Fire White last night (March 30) and dropped a 3 - 2 decision in overtime.

Kayla Bell scored less than six minutes into the first period to stake the Lightning to a 1 - 0 lead, but Calgary scored later in the first period and went ahead early in the third before Jennica Wilkie tied things up with under three minutes to go.

Calgary got the winner 13:43 into the extra frame.

Cianna Weir blocked 30 shots in the Lightning goal.

The Lightning play one more round-robin game today at 3:45 pm when they take on the Sherwood Park Fury.

The gold and bronze medal games go tomorrow.
