The Airdrie Irish were in Alberta Football League action in Lloydminster yesterday (July 7) where they lost 46 - 6 to the Vandals.

The loss drops Airdrie's record to 2 and 4 while the Vandals improve to .500 on the year with two wins, two losses, and a tie.

The Irish have a bye week before they return to action on July 21st when they entertain the Grande Prairie Drillers in Airdrie.

The Irish are hoping for the same kind of result as when the two teams met back on May 26th when Airdrie opened the season with a 14 - 9 win.
