The Calgary Hitmen have been knocked out of the WHL playoffs following last night's loss to the Edmonton Oil Kings.

The Hitmen fell behind early, and by the end of the game, were shut out in dominant fashion 6-0.

Losing last night's game meant the Hitmen were swept completely.

Airdrie's Jake Neighbours for the Oil Kings had a good night and put up 1 goal and 1 assist to help the Oil Kings toward their shutout.

The Hitmen will have to wait until next season for another chance while the Oil Kings move on.
