The Cochrane Generals were victorious in Game One of a best-of-three series against the High River Flyers.

The Gens laced up last night at 8 o'clock and annihilated the Flyers 11-2. They could not have asked for a better outcome as they plan to bring that same energy to the ice tonight in Game Two at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex in High River.

Cochrane currently ranks third in the southern division of the Heritage Junior Hockey League with a season record of 27-9-2 and 56 points. High River ranks sixth and is 12-21-5 with 29 points.

Game Two goes tonight at 8 o'clock.
