It was only their first pre-season game in the Heritage Junior Hockey League last night (September 8) but already the Cochrane Generals and Mountainview Colts will need to put in a claim for overtime.

The Gens and Colts had to play part of an extra frame before Cochrane pulled out a 4 - 3 win in their game at the Didsbury Recreation Complex.

The two teams have a rematch set for 4:30 pm this afternoon in Cochrane.

Tonight the Airdrie Thunder play their second pre-season game this weekend when they host the Okotoks Bisons at 7:00 pm at the Ron Ebbesen Arena.

On Friday night, the thunder pounded the Three Hills Thashers 10 - 1.
