The Cochrane Generals were able to keep their playoff hopes alive last night when they beat the Coaldale Copper Heads in a dramatic fashion.

The game was a back and forth battle between the two teams with each team scoring five goals.

In the third with only 43 seconds left Braden Bain took a pass from Taylor Girard and is able to score the game winner.

The Copperheads called a timeout with 23 seconds left and attempted to clear the net and use the extra attacker to tie the game back up but after the puck drops the team couldn't get it done.

The Generals are currently down two games and head to Coaldale Wednesday for game five of the best of seven series.
