The dream season continues for Jordan McConnell of the Airdrie Thunder.

A record-setting performance against the Three Hills Thrashers has won the forward Player of the Week honours in the Heritage Junior Hockey League for the fourth time this season.

McConnell scored four times and had 10 points in a 22 - 2 whitewashing of the Thrashers on Friday night.  Those ten points gave him 125 on the season and established a new league scoring record.  The old mark of 121 points was set by another Thunder player, Brad Rossiter, during the 2005-2006 season.  McConnell's fourth goal of the night was also his 50th of the season.

Not only was he named Player of the Week for the fourth time, but McConnell has also been named Player of the Month four times this season.

Rylan Plante-Crough, Brayden Dunn, and Tyler Petrie of the Thunder have also been on the list of HJHL Players of the Week this year.  Plante-Crough also reached the 50 goal plateau against Three Hills.  He's been named one of the league's Three Stars of the Month four times.

The Thunder are 33 and 3 and have clinched home ice advantage throughout the playoff run.  They'll wrap up the regular season with a pair of road games this weekend.  Friday they visit Okotoks for a game with the Bisons and are in Stettler on Saturday to play the Lightning.
