A one-time member of the Airdrie "AAA" Bantam Xtreme is on the ice in Buffalo, New York this weekend, one of 104 players who've been invited to the NHL Scouting Combine.  

17-year-old defenseman Jacob Bernard Docker is also the only player from the Alberta Junior Hockey League to have received an invitation.  Docker spent last season with the Okotoks Oilers.

Docker, from Canmore, spent two seasons with the Xtreme.  He was ranked 33rd among North American skaters in NHL Central Scouting's final 2018 draft rankings.  He was named the Canadian Junior Hockey League's top defenseman this season and also received the AJHL's W.G. (Bill) Scott Memorial Trophy as the most outstanding defenseman in the league.  

Docker recently signed a letter of intent and will be joining the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks. a Division One team in the NCAA next season.
