It all comes down to this.

The best of three first-round South Division series in the Alberta Female Hockey League will be decided today (March 10) in Airdrie when the Midget Elite Lightning host the Rocky Mountain Raiders from Okotoks.

The third and deciding game was made necessary last night when the Lightning pulled out a 3 - 2 win over the Raiders to even things up at one game each.  The Raiders took the series opener 4 - 3 on Friday night.

Codi Bacon, Sarah Nusl and Rachel Selent scored the Lightning goals last night.  Airdrie was forced to kill off a string of seven straight penalties in the second and third periods to get the win.

Puck drops on the deciding game at 12:30 pm at Genesis Place.  The winner of today's game, and therefore the series, will move on to face the Calgary Fire White next weekend.
