Alberta cowboys seem to like B.C. money because they brought wallets full of it back from the Interior Provincial Exhibition and Stampede in Armstrong.

Performers from Airdrie, Cochrane, and Carstairs turned in big scores in the rough stock events and fast runs in the timed event to claim the cash.

Jake Vold's bareback comeback continued at the B.C. show.  He marked 87 in the event to finish second behind Ty Taypotal of Regina who was 88.5 for first.

Vold's performance earned him a cheque of over $2,964.

Straws Milan of Cochrane was lightning fast in steer wrestling, rolling his steer in 3.6 seconds to claim first place money of $3,722.

Finally, Kyle Lucas of Carstairs finished in a second-place tie in the tie-down roping with an 8.1, winning $3,438.
