The Olds College Broncos ladies volleyball squad, with three players from Airdrie on their roster, are finding out the hard way that things don't always go smoothly in college sports.

The Broncos, with Natalya Hauser, Kayley Lloyd and Morgan Pickard in their ranks, lost their 15th game in the ACAC this season on the weekend when they fell in straight sets in a pair of matches to the Red Deer College Queens.

It was the Broncos first action since the Christmas break.  Before that break, Olds College had compiled a disappointing 1 and 13 record in women's volleyball.

The three Airdronians signed with Olds at the beginning of this season after graduating from Airdrie high schools, George McDougall for Lloyd and Pickard, and St. Martin de Porres for Hauser.

The Broncos will be looking for win number two on the season when they next see action on the weekend of January 25th and 26th in a home and home series against Ambrose University from Calgary.
