The results were very different for Airdrie Senior and Junior girls teams in the Rocky View High School Basketball League last night (January 10),  

The Junior girls compiled a perfect 3 and 0 record while the Senior girls were disappointed in going 0 and 3.

In Junior action, the W,H, Croxford Cavaliers handed the Cochrane Cobras their first loss this season, downing them 49 - 44.  The George McDougall Mustangs dumped Bow Valley 83 - 52 and the Bert Church Chargers squeaked by Chestermere 41 - 38.

The results mean that George McDougall tops the standings and is the only unbeaten club remaining in the Junior Girl's league with a 3 and 0 record.

W.H. Croxford has a 3 and 1 record, followed by Cochrane at 2 and 1.  Bow Valley and Springbank are next at 1 and 2.  Bert Church and Chestermere each have 1 win and 3 losses.

In Senior play, Chestermere disposed of Bert Church 60 - 29, it was Bow Valley over the Mustangs 61 - 33 and Cochrane got by Croxford by a 61 - 45 count.

The Senior standings have Cochrane and Bow Valley tied for first with 3 wins and no losses.  W.H. Croxford and Chestermere sit at 2 and 2 with Springbank and George McDougall each with a 1 and 2 mark.  Bert Church is winless in four starts this season.
