The Airdrie female Elite Lightning's season has come to an end following a 4-3 loss to the Rocky Mountain Raiders

 

The Lightning battle hard in their best of three series against the Rocky Mountain Raiders but was not able to get the job done bringing their season to a close. 

The game was an aggressive battle with a total of ten penalties. 

Maeve Van't Klooster opened up the scoring for the lighting putting on in the back up of the net late in the second. 

Jennica Wilkie and Emily Biggin score the other two for the Lightning.
