The Field of Dreams Stampede in La Crete wrapped up last night (August 8th) and a couple local athletes reached the top. 

Crossfield’s Grady Quam and his partner Devin Wigemyr of Medicine Hat finished first in Team Roping with a time of 4.4 seconds.

Meanwhile, Kyle Brown of Didsbury won the title in Bull Riding with a score of 84.

Cochrane’s Straws Milan was also in action as he finished second in Steer Wrestling with a time of 4.4 seconds.

The Rodeo calendar continues this weekend with the Jasper Heritage Rodeo and the Dawson Creek Exhibition and Stampede.
