Team Alberta will play Ontario tonight (August 12) for volleyball gold at the Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg.

Alberta, with Ryan Zachary of Airdrie in the lineup, took on Quebec yesterday in the semi final and dispatched them in three straight sets, however the results were much tighter than that final might indicate.

Alberta won by scores of 25 - 19, 28 - 26 and 25 - 22.

That sets up tonight's match up against Ontario, who won their semi final three sets to one over B.C.

Earlier, Ontario beat Alberta three sets to one for the only loss of the tourney by the Albertans, so tonight's match will be a shot at redemption.

The gold medal final gets underway at 6:30 pm (Mountain) at the Investors Group Athletic Centre in Winnipeg.
