25 May 2017 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

(Save to cal)

Bert Church High School, Airdrie

When a person intentionally harms their own body, it can be confusing and troubling to the people who care about them. People who participate in non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) may, for example, cut, scratch or burn their own skin, without intending to end their life.  This session describes what NSSI is, why it happens, and how to respond.

This is a partnership with RVS Stepping Stones to Mental Health and Community Education Services.
