Watch: Possible tornado touches down near Balzac

Amid a severe thunderstorm watch that had previously been issued for Airdrie, Cochrane and the surrounding areas, an area resident captured what appears to be a tornado touching down earlier this afternoon in the Balzac area.

There was no immediate information if there was any property damage.

Airdrie and Cochrane were under a severe thunderstorm watch on Monday afternoon. The watch has since ended.
