After appealing to the public for help in finding a vehicle and driver that was suspected of being involved in a suspected child luring incident on Monday, the Calgary Police have located the driver.

"We were able to locate the driver and speak with him. While the driver is not under arrest and is not facing any charges at this time, police continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the interaction with the child," a press release stated.

Early, it was reported that on Monday, July 25, 2022, at approximately 3:20 P.M. a boy was outside with his dog on the front lawn of his home when in the 100 block of Walden Mews S.E., when he was approached by a man in a white van.

According to Calgary police, the boy told investigators the man was alone in the vehicle, rolled down the passenger side window, and told the boy to get in the van.

"The boy refused to get in, picked up his dog and quickly returned inside his home when he reported the incident to his mother, and she notified police."
