With the NHL season fast approaching, it's hard not to wonder what will be happening with other team's rosters.

The Tampa Bay Lightning's set their roster, and Dana Tyrell is not on it. Tuesday, the Bolts made the former Airdrie Extreme forward the last cut at camp this year. Damien Christodero with the St. Pete Times watched Dana play this pre-season, and said it was just a numbers game.

Talking to Tyrell yesterday, he knew where he was on the roster, but still sounded confident of making the club.

Tyrell played for the Lightning last season, picking up six goals and nine assists in 78 games with the club. He will start the season with the Nor-folk Admirals, who host former Extreme teammate Zach Boychuck and the Charlotte Checkers for two games, Thursday and Friday.
