Back in June, Calgary Flames legend Jarome Iginla's daughter, Jade Iginla, captured the gold medal at the IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship with Team Canada.

Iginla missed most of the tournament until making a return for the playoffs, Canada beat Finland 2-1 in the semi-final before beating the USA in the gold medal game 3-2.

Since 2008, Canada's U18 women's team has won six gold medals, seven silver medals, and one bronze medal. 

Iginla played her entire 2021–22 season at the Rink Hockey Academy in Kelowna. Iginla had a total of 39 points and 22 goals in 27 games played with Rink Academy.

This season, committed to Brown University for this season and many more.

Currently, she leads her team in total points with eight goals and three assists for a total of 11 points.

Currently, Brown University Women's Ice Hockey Team has a 5-8-1 record.
