The Airdrie Thunder scored goals on the power-play, when shorthanded and at even strength to defeat the Mountainview Colts 6 to 4 on November 25 in Airdrie.

This wasn't the best game to watch as there were far too many penalties, but the special teams got a chance to show their stuff; including a huge three on five Colts power play for four minutes in the third period. Team Thunder managed to battle through all of the adversity and come out of the evening with the much needed two points.

Sunday was a different story, as the boys were shut out 7-0 against the Okotoks Bisons. It wasn't for a lack of effort as the Thunder managed to get 47 shots on net, but none crossed the line.

The team takes a rare Friday night road trip to High River to take on the Flyers, game time is 8:30.
