After splitting a pair of one-goal games, including one that took triple-overtime to decide, the Airdrie Techmation Thunder left little doubt in game three of the best-of-seven Heritage Junior Hockey League (HJHL) North Division semi-final.

It was all Thunder last night (February 24) at the Ron Ebbesen Arena as they scored five, second-period goals to cruise to a decisive 8 - 1 win over the Mountainview Colts and a 2 - 1 lead in the series.

Tyler Broesky scored twice as he opened and closed the scoring for the Thunder.  Between Broesky's pair came goals by Dace Carlson, Cody Steinert, Tanner Chapman, Joey Haden, Tyson Sandhu and Justin LeGrandeur.  Jordan Saunders was the only Colt to beat Airdrie netminder Austin White who came up with 35 saves in the win.

The Thunder will look to take a 3 - 1 stranglehold on the series in game four which will be played tonight at 8:00 pm in the Didsbury Memorial Complex.
