After a tough 8-3 loss against the United States to start the Men's U18 World Championships in Germany, Team Canada bounced back with a big win against the host team.

At the end of the first period, Canada had a quick two-goal advantage with goals from Grayden Siepmann and David Goyette. Going into the second period Canda's Connor Bedard continued the momentum the team started in the first period and took a 3-0 lead. By the end of the second period, Canada was able to put one more in the back of the net while Germany was able to put two goals behind the Canadian goalie making the score 4-2 at the end of the second period.

Shortly into the third period Germany was able to score one more goal to make the score 4-3, yet, Canada was not going to let Germany back in the game. Canada scored four straight goals with one of them being assisted by Airdronian Josh Davies and two more goals being from Bedard to complete the hat trick.

Canada ended up beating the German team 8-3.

Up next for Canada is a Tuesday game against Czechia; they have played two games so far as well, they beat Germany in their first game of the preliminary round but lost their second game to the strong U.S squad.
