Jon Cornish is the Stamps nominee for Outstanding Canadian in this year's CFL Awards.

CFL teams released their end of year award nominees Wednesday, November 2, heading into the final week of the regular season.
The nominees from the Calgary Stampeders are:

  • Wide Receiver Nik Lewis for Most Outstanding Player
  • Running back Jon Cornish for Outstanding Canadian
  • Kick returner Larry Taylor for Special Teams Player
  • Defensive Back Brandon Smith for Most Outstanding Defensive Player
  • Offensive Lineman Stanley Bryant for Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman
  • Defensive Back Demetrice Morley for Most Outstanding Rookie

The Stamps' nominees will go up against the others from the Western Division teams. One representative from the West will be chosen to be a finalist against a team from the East. The finalists will be announced Wednesday, November 9, and the Awards will be handed out Grey Cup week, in Vancouver.
