According to Rocky View County, they have made some changes when it comes to dog licensing for the new year.

At the beginning of this month, dog license fees was reinstituted.

In Rocky View County, all dogs over three months of age must have a license.

Despite the fact that licenses never expire, they are renewed annually. According to RVC, It's critical that they have your current contact information on file. 

It is easier for RVC to reunite you with your dog in the event that it becomes lost and is recovered by someone else if you have a license for your dog and maintain your contact information up to date.

In the county, there is a $150 fine for dogs without licenses. A $500 punishment is imposed for providing false information on your license application.
