Through the Smile Cookie Campaign last year, Tim Hortons business owners in Airdrie raised over $40,000 the previous year to benefit the Airdrie Health Foundation.

This year's Smile Cookie Week which started on September 19 and runs until the 25, will help organizations in communities throughout the nation for the 26th consecutive year.

This year, Tim Hortons restaurants in Airdrie and the surrounding area are supporting the Airdrie Health Foundation. Funds will support enhancing health care in Airdrie at the Community Health Centre, including Urgent Care and Mental Health.

Michelle Bates, the Executive Director of the Airdrie Health Foundation explained, “having the [Airdrie Health] foundation being able to work with these great partners and raise funds and keep the money here [in Airdrie] just improves and enhances our healthcare here.”

Events like the Smile Cookie Campaign assist the Airdrie Health Foundation in raising money for much-needed medical equipment, ongoing funding for several initiatives, and continuing education and training that would not otherwise be possible in the Airdrie Health Community.
