The Airdrie Oilmen's Association presents 'Bikes & Bulls' Friday, August 26 and Saturday, August 27 at the Airdrie Rodeo Grounds.

The event kicks off Friday afternoon with a motorbike rally from 3 to 9 pm followed by entertainment from local bands. Saturday, take in a bike show & shine from 10 am to 1 pm and a motorbike rodeo featuring stunts between 1 and 3 pm. From 5 to 8 pm, bull riding followed by local bands, Storm and Fast Moving Mountains, and headliners Head Pins and Aaron Pritchett end off the night.

Ian Cameron with the association spearheaded the founding of the Airdrie chapter in 2003, and since then about 150 local people in the oil industry have joined the membership. Cameron says their main function has been the annual golf tournament at Woodside Golf Course in September, allowing them to help some groups that need it most. Proceeds from 'Bikes & Bulls' will likewise go to local charities.
