Calgary police have released a sketch of a man they believe is responsible for at least four sexual assaults that have taken place over the last month in the northwest communities of Dalhousie and Ranchlands. Investigators are still searching for the individual wanted in connection with the sex assaults and since last week no new victims have come forward and a number of leads have been followed.

The most recent assault happened on Saturday, November 19. According to police, at approximately 12:45 a.m., a victim was walking eastbound in the 0 to 100 block of Dalton Drive N.W., when an unknown man approached her from behind and sexually touched her without consent.

"Later the same day, at approximately 5:30 a.m., [police] again attended the Dalhousie LRT station where a fourth victim reported that she was waiting for a bus at the LRT bus shelter when an unknown man approached her from behind and sexually touched her without consent," a police press statement read.

Earlier in the month, on November 6, at approximately 11 p.m., an individual exited a Calgary Transit bus near the intersection of Ranchlands Boulevard and Ranchero Rise and began walking towards her residence, when an unknown man grabbed her from behind and sexually touched her without consent.

Police underlined that sexual touching without consent is sexual assault.

"It has a lasting impact on victims and can leave them feeling unsafe and vulnerable in public for many years after the incident."
