This year's annual Mayor's Food Drive is going on this weekend at Safeway on Main Street. This is an important event, as the Food Bank needs to stock its shelves with essentials heading into the holidays.

Mayor Peter Brown hopes  Airdrie residents show their generosity once again and surpass last year's totals.

The Food Drive will happen between 10 am to 4 pm,  Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11.
