UPDATE: One ramp now open, another one closed due to road conditions

UPDATE: all ramps are now open, just very slippery roads now.

Thanks to the slippery road conditions, another incident is slowing things down significantly for travellers trying to exit on the off-ramp from the QEII northbound onto Veterans Boulevard, the ramp has now been closed.

According to the RCMP a jack-knifed semi has spun out blocking the ramp onto Veterans Boulevard. Crews are currently on the scene and it's causing big delays for travellers who are having to find an alternate route.

The on-ramp onto the QEII from Yankee Valley Boulevard is now open again and traffic is flowing after an earlier incident, where another semi spun out and tied things up.

Emergency crews are working as hard as they can to clear the scenes for other drivers and we would like to remind motorists to please slow down, move to the farthest away lanes and take caution when passing crews and the scenes. Please drive safe and take your time, so everyone can get home safely.
