Gas prices are rising in the city. Over the course of Tuesday afternoon, gas prices in Airdrie were anywhere from $1.719/ litre to $1.79/ litre. 

On Tuesday evening at least six stations were reported to have prices as high as $1.79.9.

And if you're hoping to travel to Calgary to find a cheaper deal, you'll be out of luck as Gasbuddy issued a gas price hike alert for the city.
