Some customers of Sunwing Vacations may want to check their flight status before making a dash for the airport.

According to the company's website and Twitter, the company is, "...currently experiencing a network-wide system issue which has impacted check-in and boarding, resulting in flight delays for all departing flights over the next 12-24 hours."

Two departing flights from Calgary's International Airport with SunWing Airlines have been delayed. The first flight scheduled to fly to Edmonton that was meant to take off at 6:45 this morning has been rescheduled for 8 P.M. this evening, while a flight to Montego Bay that was meant to leave Calgary at 08:00 this morning has been rescheduled to 4 P.M. this afternoon.

We strongly encourage all customers travelling during this period to check their flight status before heading to the airport," a statement on the company's website read. While the company's Twitter feed promised, "We are committed to providing further updates on the situation as needed."

There was no statement on when the issues may be resolved.

Updates will be provided when and if they are made available.
