A man from Lethbridge is $500,000 richer after purchasing a lottery ticket in the Airdrie area.

Leonard Hutchinson matched all five main numbers in the April 28th DAILY GRAND draw on a ticket bought at the Century Downs Racetrack and Casino in rural Rocky View County near Balzac.

Hutchinson nearly forgot about the ticket, checking it almost three months following the draw.  He was in a Lethbridge store when he remembered the ticket and scanned it.  When he found out he'd won, Hutchinson was almost lost for words, succinctly explaining, "I didn't say much."

So what does he plan to do with his $500,000 windfall?  "I'm going to pay off some bills and be debt free.  Then I'll invest the rest."
