The series "The Dropout" took home the "Best Limited Series" award, while Daniel Radcliffe in “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story” won "Best Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television."

Under The Banner Of Heaven was filmed in lots of different Alberta locations including Calgary, Didsbury, north of Cochrane, Okotoks, and many more.

Multiple Airdonians were able to work on the set including Amanda Tozser who was the First Assistant Makeup Artist for the series, and Jamie Shukaliak who had a chance to work on the set quite a bit in background roles.

"I was very lucky to be part of the makeup crew for Under The Banner of Heaven. It had an incredibly talented cast and a devoted hard working crew. Having this series filmed in Alberta is an addition to many incredible films and series that our beautiful province has been home to," said Tozser.
