The RCMP has confirmed that an arrest was made, though there are no details as to the charges. 

There was a heavy police presence on Windsong Boulevard on the Southside of the 40th Avenue traffic circle.

Multiple police cars were blocking the road and police officers talked to residents.

The public was asked to give the officers space and let them conduct their work in these situations.
