Although no awards were won on NHL awards night (June 21), high honours were awarded to multiple Calgary Flames players.

Flames goaltender Jacob Markstrom was a finalist for the Vezina Trophy (top goalie). Markstrom ended up in second place with 14-second place votes and 11 third-place votes. Igor Shesterkin of the New York Rangers ended up winning the Vezina Trophy.

When it came to the Hart Trophy (NHL's most outstanding player) two Flames made the list. Johnny Gaudreau finished in fourth place with three first-place votes, 19 second-place votes, 44 third-place votes, 66 fourth-place votes and 36 fifth-place votes. Matthew Tkachuk also made the list receiving one fifth-place vote.

Chris Tanev received one fifth-place vote when it came to the Norris Trophy (top defensemen).

A total of three Flames were named to the two all-star teams. Johnny Gaudreau to the first team with Matthew Tkachuk and Jacob Markstrom on the second.

Earlier in the month, Flames Head Coach Darryl Sutter won the Jack Adams Award.
