On June 1 baby girl Denver passed away. She was two months old.

Discover Airdrie previously reported on the remarkable little girl who had brought together the EMS community, cheering on her and her parents, Taylor Wilkinson and Chris Lewis, who are both EMS dispatchers in the Calgary/Airdrie area.

Two close friends of the family, Brandy Groot, and Airdronian Renee Groves-Miller, an EMS dispatcher who has worked with Denver’s dad, Chris, had set up a gofundme campaign to help the couple with their finances. The campaign has amassed $14,430 thus far.

"Chris and Taylor are currently making their way home from Edmonton. Please consider continuing to support Taylor and Chris as they process this loss and find the strength to continue. They will need the strength of all our support in the coming days/weeks/months," read a post dated June 2.

Previously, Denver and her parents travelled to Edmonton to the Stollery Children's Hospital for a lung biopsy and a cardiac catheterization in the hopes to find some answers or a direction of treatment. An update on the gofundme page stated that, "Believe it or not…. Denver’s lung biopsy was sent out to the very best yesterday in … DENVER! (Yes, the City… what are the chances..)"

Denver's journey was met with hundreds of messages of support on social media.
