A robbery in Coopers has RCMP on the lookout for a suspect, they are hoping someone in the community can identify.

On Thursday (January 12) , Airdrie RCMP responded to the gas station in the Coopers Town Promenade after a report came in about a robbery at 8:28pm.

According to the investigation, the suspect arrived on foot. Then entered the store, produced a weapon and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect left westbound with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects whereabouts is not known to police.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • Light complexion
  • 40-45 year’s old
  • Clean shaven
  • Grey eyes
  • Wearing blue jeans, rubber boots, a grey plaid work jacket with a black hood, and a black hat with a sticker on the brim
