In a scene they described as "chaotic", Cochrane RCMP responded to an assault in progress on the Morley Reserve late yesterday afternoon. 

A group in a stolen Dodge Caravan had gone to a home where a physical altercation took place. The van attempted to flee the scene, striking three people  in the process. Shortly after, the van left the roadway and struck a tree. Four people were transported to hospital by ground ambulance and two by STARS. 

Alcohol is believed to be a factor and charges are pending against four people.
