A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for Russell McDiarmid, who is wanted for the 2nd degree murder of Nancy Swenty in Manitoba. McDiarmid is described as white with balding brown hair, brown eyes, 5’11” tall and weights about 169 lbs. He is possibly armed and may be traveling in a stolen 2006 grey Ford Ranger pick-up truck.

McDiarmid was last spotted at a Saskatoon hospital on September 1 at approximately 11:30 pm.  This new information leads officials to believe he may be heading to BC, where he's originally from.

Nancy Swenty was reported missing by her mother on July 28, after she failed to show up for work that morning in Fisher Branch, MB.  On July 31, her 1990 Chevrolet S10 pick-up truck was located in the Fraserwood area in Manitoba, and on August 28, her body was found near Poplarfield, MB.

Anyone who has information on McDiarmid's whereabouts is urged not to approach him but to contact the police.
