On Thursday morning, motorists in Airdrie witnessed dozens of Calgary police officers driving through the city on motorcycles, accompanied by CPS cruisers. Traffic was temporarily stopped during this time at certain intersections in Airdrie.

Earlier on Thursday morning, The RCMP confirmed via social media that they were teaming up with both the Edmonton Police Service and CPS for joint motorcycle training in the Calgary area on June 8 and 9.
"Expect to see an increased police motorcycle presence in Airdrie, Cochrane, Kananaskis, and Banff," the post read
