Airdrie RCMP has advised that the bear has been safely relocated.

Previously, the Airdrie RCMP advised that there was a police presence in the Sagewood Community as there was a bear in the neighbourhood. Fish and Wildlife were dispatched.

"Please stay in your residence and away from Sagewood so this matter can be dealt with safely."
