Big Brothers, Big Sisters is looking for mentors in Airdrie.

Through their mPower Youth Mentoring program, you can encourage a middle, junior, or senior high student to achieve their full potential. Enrich the life of a young person and invest in your community by sharing your skills and experience.

Children and youth who spend time with a mentor gain confidence, acquire new skills and develop better peer relationships. Mentors find the experience rewarding as well.

Other programs available in Airdrie include:

  • Big Brother/Big Sister
    • Spend one-to-one time in the community with a young person. Learn new things and explore your community while building a special relationship with your little brother or sister.
  • Teen Mentoring
    • Teens can give back to their community, build your resume and earn high school credits by becoming a teen mentor. Over 400 junior and senior high school students are already mentors to an elementary school student. It's a chance to be a positive role model while having fun.
