Although the Rochester Americans suffered a 3-1 loss against the Laval Rockets in game two of the AHL North Division Finals, Airdronian Aaron Dell has a stronger showing.

Dell has started in nine straight games for the Americans, in six of his last nine games during the 2022 Playoffs, Dell has stopped at least 20 shots.

The Americans were held scoreless through two periods of play while the Rockets jumped out to a 2-0 lead heading into the third period. Each team was able to put up one more goal to finish the game with a final score of 3-1.

In-game one of the North Division Finals,  Dell exited the Americans' net after letting in four goals on 20 shots in the  6 – 1 loss.

Game three is on Wednesday night, game time is at 7 pm. 

Before his pro career started, the 33-year-old Dell played for the U18 Airdrie Lightning AAA squad, then spent parts of two seasons with the Airdrie Thunder. His professional journey has taken him to San Jose, where he played for the Sharks over five seasons before a brief stint with the New Jersey Devils. He's spent this year with the Buffalo Sabres and Rochester.
