Something familiar is coming back!

In late July, Nose Creek Valley Museum hosted Airdrie’s first-ever Car Boot Sale and Flea Market to raise funds for the museum, which ended up being a big success raising a little over $1000.

It went so well, that they decided to host another one before summer officially ended!

This one will take place at the museum this weekend.

According to Laurie Harvey, the Executive Director Curator at Nose Creek Valley Museum, the event is like a garage sale for those who don’t have a garage.

“People from the community rent a spot in our parking lot, or a spot in one of our meeting rooms if they didn't want to be outside, then they come the day-of with their vehicle to set up and sell whatever they like.”

Anyone interested in renting out a spot to participate in the Car Boot Sale and Flea Market can CLICK HERE to fill out the application and see the pricing.

The Car Boot Sale and Flea Market takes place at Nose Creek Valley Museum on August 27 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. For more information on the event visit their Facebook Page, call 403-948-6685, or email ncvmcarboot@gmail.com.
