Airdrie RCMP is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an alleged assault that occurred on May 16 in the Prairie Springs area.

According to police, at approximately 5:28 p.m., Airdrie RCMP was called to a Prairie Springs residence when the homeowner reported a suspicious male at the front door.

“The male began walking away as the resident parked their vehicle. The resident approached the male who said he was offering window and siding washing. The male did not have window washing equipment or sales material.”

The male then assaulted the resident, who sustained minor physical injuries. Further investigation found this male had also been in the area on Saturday, May 13 around 11 a.m.  

The male suspect is described as:

  • A light complexion male believed to be in his twenties with short, parted red hair
  • On May 16, he was wearing a green t-shirt, black shoes, burgundy pants, and a black Calgary backpack.
  • On May 13, he was wearing a red t-shirt, black shorts, black shoes and the same Calgary backpack.
