On July 24, the Airdrie Mohawks senior C men's lacrosse team defeated the Edmonton Warriors 14-5 to win yet another provincial championship and claim their fifth straight Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (RMLL) title.

Randy Levick, a player for the Mohawks talked about how the 11-1 regular season went.

“It went really well. We lost one game, which was the first game I think we lost in like 80 games for like four or five years. But other than that, the season went really well.”

Levick went on to talk about how the postseason went.

“We played the Olds Senior C Team in the first-round playoffs, and we won those two games. They were pretty rough compared to the regular season, which was kind of fun. In the Provincial Finals, we played the Senior C Warriors out of Edmonton, those games were pretty good, but we won both of those two.”

Levick finished off by talking about next year's goals.

“Based on the guys coming back and returning, I think our goal will be the same as this year, win provincials. I don't know if we're going to win as many games, but it'd be nice to win all the games again. But the teams in our league are getting better and better. So, it's going to be harder to do that, but winning provincials is definitely our goal.”

The Airdrie Mohawks have now won every championship since 2016.
