Airdrie Mayor Peter Browns Leadership Prayer Breakfast is back in action this upcoming Tuesday (May 3).

“It's really about coming together. You don't have to be a religious person to be part of it,” says Mayor Brown. “I've had several people that don't go to church and are atheist and they said they've had a wonderful time. It's really all about providing some great speakers and providing some hope.”

The event will feature guest speakers such as a youth speaker from the Airdrie Christian Academy and Matt Palsky, Operations Manager at Bearspaw Christian School.

“In our community, there's a real desire to bring some hope back into our community. I'm excited about it, it's our first time in a long time, and I think it's going to go really well,” says Brown.

The event will have a theme called “Plant Seeds of Hope in Airdrie.”

“Lots of people have obviously been impacted, or are still impacted by the results of the pandemic. Really, it's an opportunity to gather and connect with people.”

The event will be at the Town and Country Centre and will take place from 7:15 to 9 a.m.
