Venue Church, who's held Easter Egg Hunts in the past, has a different plan this year.

Instead, the church plans on hosting a few different events after their church services on April 17, which is Easter Sunday. In an Instagram post made by Venue Church, the afternoon of events will be known as an in-house “Easter Fest” and will kick off after their 11 am service.

Included in “Easter Fest” are a number of different things such as a barbecue, a bouncy house, a petting zoo, and more.

The last time Venue Church planned to host the annual Easter Egg Hunt was in 2020, but the event was cancelled due to COVID-19. The event hasn’t made its return since.

The plan was to feature over 10,000 chocolate Easter eggs for kids to find along with family-friendly entertainment like bouncy castles, food trucks, and face painting at the last Easter Egg Hunt.

This new in-house “Easter Fest” event is set to include many of the same family-friendly activities as the egg hunt, minus the hunt itself.
